Slip-cast mold

Slip-cast a vessel or a figure. A plaster mold in pieces. Pour in liquid clay, wait for the wall to build, pour the rest back out.

Bring: Vases, cups, bowls and figures.

How it works

  1. Bring a model: upload your own STL, OBJ, GLB, PLY or 3MF, or start from an example. It is checked and, if it needs it, repaired.
  2. Pick the pieces: the mold is planned on the model, with where it would lock and where air would be caught, then generated.
  3. Get the print files: the cases are cut to fit your printer bed, with pins so they line up, and laid out on plates.
  4. Print the cases and pour: the pour sheet says how much plaster or silicone to mix, and in what order to work.
